Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd has appointed David Garvey to the role of Business Development Manager. In his role David will manage the company’s HVAC product range including its new WispAir products and will be responsible for identifying and leading strategic business development for the contractor side of the business. David, 51, will report to the company’s sales director, Steve Cartledge.
Prior to joining Weatherite Air Conditioning Ltd, David worked at Nortek Global HVAC Group for almost 20 years. He joined Nortek, which incorporates Renzor, Ambirad, Nordair Niche and Airblock Benson, at the age of 31 and worked his way up to the role of key account manager. In this role he was responsible for Nortek’s top 12 customers in the UK. David brings to Weatherite significant experience in managing both internal and external relationships at all levels, having worked within a dynamic environment where timescales are tight with multiple sales activity running concurrently.
On joining Weatherite, David said that he was delighted to be part of the team, having been familiar with the company for the last two decades.
